H & M‘s collaboration with the American designer Alexander Wang is finally here. On thursday october 6th the runway show and lookbook was released for the collection. The clothes are influences from the world of sports with a focus on function and technical fabrics, using neoprene, 3D and leather.  The runway show was a fashion gym.

“Personally, I live in workout clothes and always has something worn sports clothing as a part of my everyday outfit. When I design is the sports part of my natural thought process and I have always wanted to create a collection entirely focused on performance, with garments that can be worn both in the gym and on the street. This collaboration with H & M was the perfect opportunity for just that. For me it was also important to come up with something completely new and also differentiate me from H&M’s previous designer collaborations” said Alexander Wang in a interview for the Swedish newspaper Aftonladet.

The woman runway had tight fitted dresses, gloves, high heels, leggings with AWs on the knees, winter jackets, crop tops with the logo WANG on it, , keys, and phones, leather boxing gloves that dangled around their necks and jumpers with 3D prints. For men, there were gym shorts, jumpers with the 3D logo WANG across the chest, black and silver jackets and even leggings with the pattern Alexander Wang initials all over it.

The collection will be in stores november 6th and it will be available to order online!
