Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition has been 21 weeks in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, attracting over 493,034 visitions (a few of them Nombre World‘s team) from 87 countries including Afghanistan, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, Namibia and El Salvador. 84,000 tickets purchased ahead of opening, breaking museum records for advance sales. To prepare the exhibition 10 conservators carried out nearly 5,000 hours of object preparation. The V&A Shop sold 2,000 meters of Alexander McQueen limited edition slik scarves and over 540,000 postcards. The accompanying book sold more than 80,000 copies and featured in the UK’s top ten non-fiction bestsellers chart. An online audience of more than 3,5 million.
